This is a commission for Its-SuscipioIf you're interested in having a commission of your own, my prices are on my profile. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions.

All up I think about 60 hours of work went into this, spread out over a month. It's been one long, painstaking effort but absolutely worth it in the end! All I need to do now is squish this under some heavy books for a day or so, seal it with UV blocking clearcoat and ship it off to Canada. I switched my paint brand halfway though this when I realised that my Pebeo 24-set dry in weird pastel colours and just don't build up dark or deep enough. They'll be fine for birds and flowers but I won't use them for illustrations like this in the future, I'll stick to my W&N Cotman colours for that. When it comes to watercolour, more isn't necessarily better!

As a side note, I think one of my favourite things about this is that Springtrap isn't looking at the guard... he's looking at you.

I love how rusted he looks, and not just moldy green. Since he was Spring Bonnie, who was gold, it fits so much better. And the reflection of the terrified "night guard" is a really nice touch. It's really intense and creates a sense of seriousness because the "night guard" knows that he's going to kill him soon, and even if he tried to fight back he'd lose and he'd die. The little office details from the game are a nice touch to add a tiny bit of humor (Though not much) that makes it almost quaint, despite the terror the victim's feeling at the moment. The blood left from his fingers on the glass shows that he's still rotting away and that he could just fall apart at any moment from pure decay that can't support the costume anymore. The setting looks really accurate to the game and shows your attention to detail. And Springtrap's menacing face shows that the man inside hasn't changed a bit. Him breaking the glass is proof also. I think this drawing is superb from all of this. And since it's near Halloween, it's a good edition to the horror art of the franchise. Well done!
